Early morning offering of food to the monks then proceed to a temple where a merit making ceremony "Tambun Ceremony" is held. Arranged sets of necessities together with some flowers, incense sticks and candles are presented to the monks. In return for the gifts, the monks will recite a prayer to thank all who have come to make merit.
