Visit Yao & Akha Hilltribe Villages in Mae Chan district. Excursion to Mae Sai, the farthest northern towns on the Thai-Burmese border. Drive on to the Golden Triangle area, where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet. Continue to Chiang Saen (A.D. 1260), located on the steep banks of the Mae Khong River opposite to Laos, to discover some magnificent ruins and ancient temples.
