Thanboke Khoranee National Park
Thanboke Khoranee has been established as a National Park since September 1998. It covers an area of 104 sq.km. (39.7 sq.km.of the park is terrestrial, the rest 64.3 sq.km. is marine). The cave known as "Tham Naam Lot" has an underground stream that flows through it. At the mouth of the cave is a natural pool, "Sa Thanboke Khoranee", where it is possible to swim. Water from this pool swirls over around rocks and tree roots in a series of shallow tiers within a cool and relaxing atmosphere. There are cave-passages that are navigable by boat within the limestone mountain, where you can see beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.
Tiger Cave Temple
This temple also known as "Tiger Cave", features tiger foot prints captured in stone, It is in the middle of a lush forest with one enormous old tree serving as a temple, It is also an archeological site where many ancient artifacts have been found, including tools, pottery and a mold of the Buddha's footprint. There are several other interesting caves in the surrounding hills to be explored.
Krabi Town
This charming local town, being the provincial capital, manages to retain its identity in the face of developing tourism. As the main commercial and transit point of the province, Krabi pays little attention to tourism. Just as in years gone-by, Krabi River still provides the hub of activities with fishing boats and river taxis ferrying both the locals and visitors to the coast and islands beyond.
