I - Monkey at Work
On Samui, the monkey undoubtedly qualifies as man’s best friend. This isn’t surprising since, for centuries, local people have used monkeys to do the challenging job of climbing to pick ripe coconuts in their plantations. Until the advent of tourism, coconuts represented the main industry here, so these illustrious little animals were greatly prized. If you want to see monkeys at work, just watch out for signs at the roadside which say “Monkey work coconut” or go to the monkey theatre which offers shows in which the monkeys display their dexterity - not just at picking coconuts!

II - Chaweng Beach
Chaweng Beach is located on Koh Samui’s east coast. The beach is approximately 7 Km. long, with powdery white sand.

III - Baby Elephant Show
Watch “Island Safari” amazing elephant show and try a baby elephant massage! Also meet and feed the elephants - this is great photo opportunity! Coconut juice or other refreshments are served here.

IV - Big Buddha Temple
Samui's most famous landmark is found on a very small island northeast of Bophut. This golden statue is 12 meters tall and sits at the top of a wide staircase decorated with dragons. At the foot of the main building are several golden statues and many religious offering stands. By donating money, guests are offered in return, either to write their names on floor tiles which will become part of the flooring, or to have their fortune told by a 5-Baht coin machine. Following Thai tradition, guests are requested to remove their shoes before climbing the stairs.
